It ends December 3rd so don’t wait.

New cover view for Portraits Magazine with St. Anselm College for their Spring/Summer 2017 issue.

I covered the RCIA (Roman Catholic Initiation of Adults) students for their public demonstration of baptism, first communion and confirmation.

Abbot Matthew Leavy, O.S.B. oversaw the celebration for 21 students of St. Anselm College or as he fondly called them the ” Tremendous 21″.

Look for the article “The Mysteries To Be Lived” by writer Laura Lemire.

Taking some time off the past few weeks and enjoying a family wedding in Park City Utah.

My niece Courtney and her husband Brandon celebrated their nuptials at the Red Cliff Ranch with a perfect evening for dancing and smores by the fire.  It was great to be and see our west coast family again.

Lots of fun seeing the view from Deer Valley and enjoying hikes, sunsets, a street festival on Main Street Park City and the local cuisine.  Janet and I finished our visit off with the Solar Eclipse of the Sun just as we headed our way to Moab Utah. Move to come on that.

National ice cream day is coming up this weekend and it was just in time for my views from the article “Beyond the Cones and the Cows” by writer Dean Johnson in the latest issue of Merrimack Valley Magazine.

I started the tour of ice cream locations in the valley with Heritage Farm Ice Cream in Lowell MA on the banks of the Merrimack River. I met with owner  Bob Howard on a Monday night for their weekly car show run by Mike Robinson.

The staff tells me that the flavor Smore’s is the local ice cream favorite and I enjoyed a great night with live music, muscle cars and beautiful weather.

This event season comes to a big finale for me at the Middlesex Community College Celebrity Forum 2017 with Red Sox Designated Hitter David Ortiz “Big Papi”.

I got Big Papi to give me a quick portrait in the green room just before all the action on stage. He was then interviewed to a full house at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium by Dan Roche, award-winning sports anchor and reporter for WBZ-TV News.

Later that night we did our usual hundreds of guest shaking hands with him before he dashed away into the night.

The event season is in high gear but I always have time for the RARA Spring Formal.

RARA (Recreational Adult Resource Association) at  Harkins House is a favorite each year.

A special thanks for all the volunteers and I am grateful to be in attendance with them for some fun photos and group shots.
