Getting those winter blues? Missing your days on the course? I had the opportunity to shoot at OptiGolf in Middleton MA, the only golf simulator right now in New England.

Caleb Reinhold pictured here gave me the tour and demonstrated the facilities.

Along with the 9 simulators you can select from 75 world-class courses with a full bar and 14′ HD projection TV. Maybe the winter won’t be so bad after all.

Smith Family Fund MLK Celebration Lowell MA 2012

Lura Smith and family presented the 14th Martin Luther King Jr. celebration at the Tsongas arena in Lowell yesterday. I had the honor or receiving the Living the Dream Award this year.

Donations to the Smith Fund help provide scholarship money for over 20 students at Middlesex Community College.

Eddie DiCroce is an up and coming photographer with a unique eye and specialty of iPhoneography.

He recently posed for a quick headshot to help promote a new show of his work.

Eddie does more with a phone camera than most photographers do with even the best equipment.

He will soon be exhibiting his work at the Ayer Loft gallery in Lowell MA January 14.

It’s actually similar to figgy pudding and is a steamy spice cake with toffee sauce, vanilla ice cream, garnished with pomegranate compote.
